Raffle - Purple Converse Hi-Top Tennies

Each year the Tri-County Relay for Life holds a raffle to raise funds to support the organization's local efforts.

This year's raffle is for a pair of custom made purple high-top Converse tennis shoes complete with a Relay for Life embossed on the side of the shoe. That's right - the shoes come special ordered in your size.

Bike Ride Fund Raiser

The fifty-mile bike ride from Chamberlain to Kimball and back was a success beyond expectations. An incredible $4,200 was raised by the bikers!

What started out as a simple bike ride to raise perhaps a few hundred dollars became a much bigger ride, poker run and a pot-luck picnic.

Thanks to everyone who participated, the organizers and especially everyone who donated food and supplies. We could not have done this without your support!

Caring Coins

Fifth grade students at Chamberlain Elementary School raised the most money during the Caring Coins mini-relay. For all their hard work they received a pizza party.

Students at CES worked hard to decorate coin collection containers and distribute them though out the school.

Mini-relay are important because they afford youth an opportunity to participate in Relay for Life activities and to learn about cancer prevention.

Caring Coins

From Mar. 1 through Mar. 18 fifth grade students at Chamberlain Elementary School are conducting a Coins of Caring Mini-relay* at their school.

The class collecting the most money will earn either an ice cream social or a pizza party, sponsored by the grandpa of one of the students...how cool is that?

A special thank you to Kim Tyrell for facilitating the event.

*Mini-relays give children an opportunity to learn about cancer, cancer prevention and to help raise funds for Relay for Life.
